Biography

Kenna M. Seiler is a Founding Partner with Seiler Rapp & Guerra, focusing her practice on cases involving all types of litigation, including civil, commercial, business, appellate, guardianship, and probate litigation. Kenna has been practicing law since 1991, and clients find her client-centered approach "refreshing," and say she is extremely knowledgeable and a tireless advocate, providing "the best possible, cost-effective outcome in a very timely manner."

For more than twenty-five years, she has served as a guardian ad litem representing children in personal injury matters, appointed by the Courts in Montgomery County, Texas. She has lectured on seminars in Montgomery County, including on guardian ad litem issues and on professionalism and ethics.

Kenna graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1987. Subsequently, she earned her law degree from The University Of Houston Law Center in 1991. Kenna is one of only a very small percentage of Texas lawyers (less than 500) who is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction she has held since 1999.

Kenna is a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, The Woodlands Bar Association, and The State Bar of Texas. She is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society, and she is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

In addition to her involvement in the legal professional community, Kenna is an avid and active member of her home community of Montgomery County, Texas, graduating from Leadership Montgomery County in 2010. She has devoted her time and efforts to numerous community groups, including the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, where she has served on the Board of Directors, Bridgewood Farms - a center for adults with developmental disabilities, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Montgomery County Republican Women, Northshore Republican Women, Lake Conroe Area Republican Women, and The Woodlands Republican Women. She chaired the Texas Strollathon, benefitting Rettsyndrome.org for ten years.
